Enjoy a special evening of dinner, entertainment and a sunset cruise aboard the SOLARIS yacht departing from Baytowne Marina in Sandestin on Friday, November 1, at 5 p.m. Join the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center to raise funds to support area student educational programs, conservation and wildlife.

Developed by conservationist, M.C. Davis, the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center sits on a 53,000-acre land and wildlife conservation reserve named Nokuse Plantation located in Freeport. The Center is dedicated to world renowned scientist and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, Dr. Edward O. Wilson. To date, the Center, with 31,000 square feet of environmentally friendly interactive exhibits, classrooms and a theater has taught over 21,000 students from 62 schools in the last four years from the surrounding 5-county area offering programs for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects.
The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization as Nokuse Education, Inc., relies primarily on public donations for their environmental education programs and other facility support services.
The event will also include a silent auction and a short presentation with animals by the Center’s President, Christy Scally and The Center’s Director, Paul Arthur. Admission is $100 per person and includes a sunset cruise on the Choctawhatchee Bay, dinner and entertainment. Ladies should not wear spiked heels (may get stuck between boards on the dock)
The boat will be departing at 5:30, so please arrive early (i.e., 5:00) to allow time for parking and boarding.
